Thursday Community Night
Bring your friends and family to our FREE Thursday night dance! Held at Houston’s local venue: Everton Hall! Get ready for the evening with a Beginner Drop-in Class at 7:30 pm, followed by dancing from 8:30 pm - 11 PM. You can expect a variety of music you can swing dance to, and a free-to-enter slow dance strictly before the night ends. There will also be line dances led by Dance Force Productions Robin Carlson and Jerry Foote. It’s a party that you don’t want to miss!!

Community Brunches
On Saturday and Sunday, come to a community chat over brunch before the classes begin. Dive into a discussion on the why behind many things we love in our community. This event is completely free to join but we will have brunch available for purchase!
Late Night Popsicles!
We are excited to host late-night parties with incredible music and fun contests, but we know how toasty it can be in Texas… even in March! So grab a popsicle and take a break with us in the Rose Garden beginning at midnight.
Taster Classes!
We are excited to offer taster classes at Lindyfest. We want to bring classes to the community by the community! These classes are completely free for any Lindyfest attendee to take.
DJ Gathering
With our goal of creating as many spaces as possible for connection, Lindyfest is happy to offer DJs an opportunity to gather! Whether you are a DJ in your local scene or at big events, let’s get together. This will be a great time to discuss the successes, struggles, and what brings us together: the music we love.
Teacher Gathering
With Lindyfest being such a central hub for many dancers, instructors, and organizers, we’d like to offer a time for people who teach Lindy hop or swing dancing to come together and ask questions, share knowledge, and think about how we can better serve the swing community.
Organizer Gathering
Similar to our teacher gathering, we are excited to offer a gathering for organizers! Whether you are organizing local swing communities, workshops, or large-scale events- or are interested in beginning to organize these types of events join us for a discussion! We will talk about different aspects of organizing and allow for some Q&A discussion with the panel and other organizers present.
LGBTQIA+ Meetup
We are really excited to host a casual meetup for LGBTQIA+ identified dancers. We will have some music, a casual space for people to connect and converse.
BIPOC Meetup
This casual meetup for BIPOC dancers will be a great space to connect with other attendees to meet, have a conversation, or join in a group discussion.
